Autism Awareness Campaign

Kids Consult Lekki, in collaboration with Pan African University, is proud to present an Autism Awareness Campaign/Workshop titled “Autism in the 21st Century –Manifestations and Interventions” and “Teachers and Parents as Agents of Change “ scheduled to take place at the Pan African University, Victoria Island on the 6th of July 2013.

This workshop and training is for Parents, Teachers, and Proprietors of Schools as well as Caretakers of Autistic children and the general public. Facilitators include a team of Educational Consultants and Autism specialists from the United States of America and Nigeria.

This workshop/training is designed to promote advanced care and learning techniques and will feature professionals from the best ASD institutions in the United States of America and Nigeria.

The Autism Specialist team at Kids Consult Lekki, strongly believes that this Autism Campaign/ Drive will impact the Nigerian Educational System on all levels and will also reawaken national consciousness to the scourge of autism and encourage support for people living with Autism. Other Consultants at Kids Consult who will be arriving from the United States of America are trained Speech & Occupational Therapists who will be available to consult with Parents at the Pan African University Autism Awareness Campaign on the 6th of July 2013. Support for children living with autism and their parents will continue after the workshop through “The Kids Consult Foundation for Children living with Autism” a platform that concerns itself with charity and support for autistic and less privileged children in the society.
